Art being my passion, I am a full time artist specializing in Oil Paintings including Commissions.
After completing my Ph.D., its finally now I am able to devote one hundred percent of my time to my art, being based near London, UK, for the last few decades.
I believe that my fascination with colours began pretty early in my life.
Growing up in India amidst chaos, diversity and close to Mother Nature helped me develop fascination for art, crafts and culture.
I am mostly self taught, inspired by the old Masters and although I am keen in exploring across genres, my art creations tends to lean towards realism. I love portraiture and still-life.
My creations tend to be colourful and attempt to evoke positivity. Every piece I have created has given me immense satisfaction and has inspired me to go on to the next creative adventure.
I suppose my creative journey began when I watched my father create beautiful sculptures and paintings. I came up with numerous ways to butt in, in an attempt to leave my mark on his creations. I became a keen observer while creating my art under his guidance.
My earliest colourful memories are of the bright coloured smooth flawless surfaced snooker balls which I nicked from the snooker table and admired. This was to the utmost annoyance of my father and his playmates and I still stand accused of disrupting numerous billiard and snooker games to this day.
